Enhance Student Life
Denison is a 100% residential campus—and has one of the strongest residential experiences in the nation. Your investment in student life will support two important initiatives: health and wellness, with the renovation of Whisler Hall and integration of wellness programming across campus; and the creation of Denison’s new Red Frame Lab, where students can practice design thinking, learn about conflict resolution, work with entrepreneurs-in-residence, and develop invaluable life skills.
Whisler Hall Renovation
Denison is a leader in providing 24/7 health care and support for our students, but Whisler Hall’s physical facilities lag behind the rest of campus. An updated Whisler will help our students find resources and create fast access to care.
A New Vision for Wellness
Research on student success shows that mental and physical health impacts academic progress in myriad ways. With integrated, holistic programming, the Whisler Center will help students maintain wellness and perform at their best.
Developing Skills for Life
The Red Frame Lab in Slayter Hall is where students can examine problems and develop solutions. They can work with professional staff and entrepreneurs-in-residence on classroom assignments, organizational issues, and societal questions, developing skills that are important in every walk of life, in every graduate and professional program, and in every nonprofit or place of business.
